Our company, GÜMÜŞDOĞA ÜRT. İTH. İHR. A.Ş., has been operating as a manufacturing company since 1997. As Turkey's largest 98th industrial establishment with 50,000 square meters of space, and being among Europe's top 10 aquaculture companies, we have decided to take new steps to further strengthen our position in the market.
Our company, which has proven itself in the fish feed sector, has entered the cat and dog food sector with the HOMIE brand. In embarking on this journey, we have transferred the experienced production and quality department managers, as well as select personnel, with 20 years experience from Cagatay Pet Food an important company in pet food sector. This team, which took part in the establishment of the facility from beginning to end, produces high quality cat and dog food with the lessons learned from many previous experiences and with state-of-the-art laboratory and production equipment. This team I mentioned has been responsible for the production of well-known brands in Turkey and internationally such as BonaCibo, Mito, Molly, Felicia, Pro Performance for many years. With the power of G¨¹m¨¹şdoğa company and the combination of our expert team, many of our private label customers, who previously worked with Çağatay and other manufacturers in the sector, started working with us months ago.
With our annual turnover of 650 million dollars and the strength it brings, we make annual agreements with companies providing high-quality raw materials. We subject each batch of these raw materials to DNA and all other analyses in our laboratory. We store the raw materials that meet our analysis values in our 500 m2 cold storage without losing their freshness and nutritional value. 3 out of 5 extruder machines are newly established for fish feed, and 2 are for cat and dog food. With a 2-line extruder that is currently not available in any company in Turkey, we produce cat and dog food separately. The final product is automatically packaged without any human touch. This meticulous process ensures the sustainability of the quality of our products, and as a result, HOMIE reaches the end consumer with its freshness and taste as on the first day.
With our experienced team within our company and 3000 employees, we can produce 10,000 tons per month. I am proud to say that we are currently the largest fish feed and dry cat and dog food manufacturer in Turkey. Additionally, with the 2 extruder machines we have recently ordered, we are further increasing our production capacity. With the exports to 55 countries by our company, based on our experiences there, our main goal is to become a company that will be talked about first in Turkey and then globally in the cat and dog food sector in the market we entered.
